I live in San Jose, Ca and I am looking for a used Honda Civic or Prelude or Accord. Must be 2 door (coupe), with moonroof, all power windows, locks, air conditioning, cruise control, tinted windows, low miles, V6 engine would be nice, maybe white in color or red or silver, automatic would be nice too. Nothing older than 1998. I have $8,000.00 cash in hand! Please answer if you have knowledge of such a vehicle for sale.

A: Well try Yahoo Autos. They will have all sorts of cars that fit your need in your area. They show you pics of the interior, exterior etc. I hope this helps

Q: 1995 Honda Prelude squeaking question?
Hey Guys,

I went to go look at a 1995 Honda Prelude SE that was for sale. When I test drove it everytime I turned the wheel it would make a squeaking sound. My friend who was in the car with me commented on how he thought it was the power steering box. We pulled the car over to pop the hood and see if we could hear where the squeak was coming from. I sat in the car and turned the wheel and he looked. Well he happened to look under the car and saw a puddle of some fluid so I backed the car up and it was a clear transluscent color. I assumed it was transmission fluid but my friend said that he thought transmission fluid was also used by the power steering so it didnt mean the tranny was leaking.

Has anyone heard of this before? Any ideas as to what it is ?

Of course I decided that it wouldn’t be best to buy the car, yet, unless the owner fixed the problem but I would like to know if anyone can shed some light on this problem.

Thanks!
If what your saying is true would then how does the fluid come in to play?
Oh and also it makes the sound regardless of driving or not in fact at higher speeds you would be hard pressed to hear it squeak.

A: SOunds like a wheel bearing. Lift the car and support it with jack stands then turn the wheels turn each wheel with your hands and listen for unusual sounds you can also start the car and put it in drive while lifted That way you can spot the noise if it is only makin it while driving In that case it would be a drive train noise can be a CV axle or the transsmission

Q: Bought a used car, what are my rights?
I bought a 2000 honda prelude from a very small used car dealership. I signed the bill of sale papers only. They told me to come back in three days to sign the loan papers. I wrote two checks for the down payment, as well. The next day, I tried to start up the car, it wouldn’t start. It isn’t the battery, already tried to jump start it. I called the dealership, talked to the salesman who sold me the car, he said it just needed a jump, I then told him, already tried it, so now I just want them to tow it back to their dealership and I wanted out of buying the car. He then put his manager on the line, I told him the same, then his tone changed, he said “I’m too busy to deal with this right now.” I told him to call me when they are towing it so i can give them the key. This went on for weeks, they still haven’t picked it up. It’s a $8100 car, is it stolen? Is that why they aren’t picking it up? I talk to the sales guy every week, and he keeps on saying he’ll call me back, which he doesn’t.

A: Call your local Law Enforcement office. They might be able to guide you on what to do and file a case. Time is the key of the whole thing. Record it!

If you have a clean title and no liens or a loan against you, I guess you are the owner now.

Q: Scion TC muffler, exhaust, and springs on a 93 Prelude?
Hi, I just purchased a 1993 Honda Prelude but need to get the obnoxious loud muffler replaced. On Craigslist there’s a real cheap muffler for sale, but I was wondering if anybody knew if I could use it on the Prelude (the muffler is from a Scion TC).

A: MIDAS.
